And what a road it has been...
Long time no post! And it seems like that on all the social media platforms, I know. That's because I have been insanely busy and focused on preparing for the Katsucon J-Fashion show! If you haven't heard the news already, Sweet Bitz will be part of the show Saturday night! I wish I could put in words how excited yet stressed I am. It's the first time I've ever done something like this and I'm just hoping that everything will turn out great.
The good news is that the hard part of designing new items is over with! The end of 2018 was mostly spent with coming up with the outfits and concepts for the fashion show. There is going to be 2 themes (it was originialy 2 shows), yume kawaii and ishokuhada. I'm so excited for everyone to get to see all the hard work done for this. We have some amazing folks who are walking the stage for the brand and I am so thankful for every one of them. The best part of it all is all of these new items that will be modeled will be hitting the store!
Something else that will be rolling out in the upcoming weeks is a brand facelift! You might have already seen some of this going on already starting with the brand new logo! I love working on new branding so I am having fun designing these new graphics for Sweet Bitz. A new website look will be coming your way soon as well. Can't wait for you all to see! Other things that are also in the works is an exciting collab with DC Kawaii Style (YAY!), the launching of Magical Girl University, and setting up shop at Quirkcon in May!
This first part of the year has been a lot of work as I prepare for upcoming things, but its all worth it in the end! I can't wait to start bringing all the new content and events to everyone, and I thank you all for hanging here still and being patient!
Stay sweet! <3
